Rathsallagh House, Golf & Country Club

Winner of the Irish Country House Restaurant ( independent review ) of the Year 2002, Rathsallagh  is a large Country House converted from Queen Anne stables in 1798. Although it is located just one hour south of Dublin airport, Rathsallagh is set in a peaceful oasis of 530 acres of parkland which also incorporates its own 18 Hole Championship Golf course. Rathsallagh is a family run establishment and has a happy andrelaxed atmosphere with log and turf fires in the bar and drawing rooms. The food at Rathsallagh is country house cooking at its best, game in season and fresh fish are specialties. Rathsallagh is also less than 50 minutes drive from The K Club, home of the 2006 Ryder Cup, Mount Juliet ( American Express Championships 2002 ),and the Curragh ( Budweiser Irish Derby ).
